Series 5.3 Abstraction 21 “Junction”
Yes. Things are happening. Life is moving.
This started out as a very distinct drawing and very gradually morphed into this painting-drawing. When these come together so quickly after toiling over them, I’m inclined to ask the question, ‘Is this what I want?’ as I sit back and look at it, as I think about it. That’s the killer right there. Thinking! So I look at it after I’ve taken the picture and am trying to manipulate the photo to look as close to the work as possible. Then I set it in the pile and move on.
No excessive thinking allowed.
